How do you edit the Spell check dictionary?

In the windows mail, how do you view and edit the words that you have added
into your computers dictionary? A wrong spelling was added into my computers
dictionary by accident and now it doesn't find that misspelling and it is a
frequently used and important word to have.

The user dictionary can be accessed at C:\Users\user
    name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\UserDictionary.lex
Open with Wordpad and edit out the word and the space it leaves>save

What if you don't have a UserDictionary.lex? I have an HP Pavilion with
Vista Premium preinstalled but when I searched for the dictionary, none was
available, and I can't spell check. Any way to correct this?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

The AppData folder is a hidden system folder, and hidden system files will need to be set to unhide in Folder Options first. This tutorial will show you how to do all of this to edit the Windows Mail custom spelling dictionary.

    Hope this helps,

Go to Control Panel>Select 'Classic View' (top left), Folder Options>enable
    'show hidden files and folders'.
