| | can't e-mail anymore I updated my computer and could no longer receive my e-mail. "Error number 0x800CCC0E". I uninstalled the update and even restored to before I updated and nothing works. Don't know what to try next. Any suggestions? |

| | Re: can't e-mail anymore I am having the same problem and received the same error and I'm not sure what you mean by click off "This server requires a secure connection." Where would I find that? Thanks! The connection to the server has failed. | | Re: can't e-mail anymore Your issue is somewhat different. Thanks for including the complete error message because that makes troubleshooting a lot easier. Comcast has been in the process of switching all their customers to a different SMTP port number, apparently without notifying their users adequately.
