Re: not being able to send any message

You are using incorrect server names. Get the correct server names from
your mail provider. They will have a web page with that information.
Or tell us who your mail provider is, and we can look it up for you.
If you have an existing email address, what is the part after the @ symbol?

'SMTP' and 'IMAP' are not valid server names, even though they are valid
protocols. The correct server names depend on which email provider you
are trying to use. Many people choose their internet provider as their
email
provider also, since most internet accounts include one or more email
accounts. Ask your email provider for their instructions for setting up to
use
their email servers. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail
yet, their instructions for Outlook Express should also work under Windows
Mail if they don't call for the HTTP protocol. The instructions are
probably
somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your email provider
is and see if anyone here already knows where to find their instructions.
