Unable to empty deleted mails folde

I work with windows vista and windows mail

I am trying to empty the "deleted mails folder" with no result. I have
already done this many times, but now I get no error message nor bad result.

The program just ask me to confirm the action and nothing else...

¿Does anyone have an idea about what is happening?

Try this Microsoft fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090

Although it only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

Note that this problem often occurs after running a non-compatible
antivirus program for a while.
