For wireless connections, this can mean that your computer has decides to use your neighbor's wireless server today instead of your own, and therefore the connection starts out through your neighbor's internet provider's equipment. In such a case, connections to port 25 are often blocked. Ask virgin.net if they allow sending outgoing mail through some port other than port 25, and if so, where to find their instructions for this. Just trying all the ports is a very slow way to find out, since there are about 65,000 ports available and it's unlikely that more than a few of them will accept outgoing mail. |

| | Re: UNABLE TO SEND EMAILS Hi, Try a hard reset on your wireless router, easiest way is to power the router down for 30 seconds then turn back on, I had exactly this problem with my Linksys and a hard reset cured the problem.
