| vists home premium 32bit | cannot send emails The rejected e-mail address was 'xxx@verizon.net'. Subject 'test2', Account: 'incoming.verizon.net', Server: 'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 Authentication Required', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 Above is the error I receive. Account worked fine before a relative secured the DSL network here. Perhaps she did something?? CAn receieve sometimes, but only sometimes and always at startup. Can send and receieve fine using Verizon webmail. I am using Windows Mail and Vista Home Premium. I appreciate any help. Thank you!  |

| | Re: cannot send emails In Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers. Click the box for "My server requires authentication".
