We have a Dell and were using AT&T.

Had our local tech change us to gmail.
Wanted to reply to an add on craigslist and when I try it askes for me to
like create an account and enter my POP3 and/or IMAP.

How do I change the setting in my computer so I can send email
automatically?

Saying you have Gmail doesn't pin it down.
Gmail offers three different types of mail service: webmail, POP, and IMAP.
Which one do you have?

If you access your Gmail account with a web browser, you are using webmail.
Gmail claims they have a fix that makes their webmail the default email service,
but I'm not so sure it works on Vista machines. Give it a try:
