Help!

I have to let it be said that I hate windows mail. I am recieving the
following message when I try to send mail. I have read and tried every thing
on these posts, which I thought were helfpul, even though nothing worked. I
can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions.

Re: Help!

Windows Mail is not the problem.

With port 465 you must use the SSL option, as clearly stated in
Yahoo's email setup instructions.

Re: Help!

That type of error is often caused by interference from a non-compatible
antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running? As a minimum, email
scanning in the antivirus must be turned off. This often insufficient; in
many cases the AntiVirus application must be uninstalled, then re-installed
using the "Custom" option where the email scanning system can be prevented
from being installed. Email scanning is redundant, it does nothing but
create problems where none exist, and your system is still fully protected
without it, provided the resident file system scanner is kept up to date.

Re: Help!

You're very welcome.

I assume you corrected "Secure(SSL): No" to "Secure(SSL): Yes".
