sending emails

EVERY time I send an email it sends it twice--I have exhausted all that I can
think of to only get one sent. ANY suggestions. Please it is very annoying
to get two of the exact same messages all the time. thanks

Re: sending emails

Go to Tools, Accounts. Make sure there isn't a duplicate mail account.

Re: sending emails

Generally speaking, you get those instructions from your email service provider.

Is Hotmail your only email service? If so, free Hotmail accounts don't work
with Windows Mail. You can upgrade to Windows Live Mail, which does
work with Hotmail accounts:

For which email provider? If it's hotmail.com, Windows Mail is unable
to connect to most of their free accounts. You may want to download
and install Windows Live Mail, which can connect to such accounts.

Re: sending emails

we are receiving an "Unable to deliver" notification to the effect that mail
sent to xxx@xxxxxx is not a known mailbox. Trouble is, we don't know who
this person is (it's a rearrangement on our monogram) and we have no mail
address for such a person. What's causing this? Stevie
The original e-mail is going out to the correct person. It seems this is
just appended to it somehow. --

Re: sending emails

Not sure what you expect us to do.
There is no way we can find the correct email address for someone
whose name you don't even know.

Re: sending emails

The issue is:

I send an e-mail to ???@.nc.rr.com. No other. No other of that name in the
contact list. ???@nc.rr.com receives his mail. I receive notification that
my e-mail to xyz@xxxxxx has no mailbox and is unknown. What I want you
to do? Why is Vista sending e-mail to someone totally unknown. There is NO
xyz@xxxxxx in my contacts list. OR in the address book which I
imported.
