Vista Tutorial - can not block emails Message rules not working

I have windows mail (Outlook) I have applied rules that if certain words are
in the subjuct line they are to be deleted but they are not. I ask the domain
and sender to be deleted and the messages keep coming into my junk email. How
can I avoid this. Even messages that I mark safe go into my delted box, what
am I doing wrong.

If it's Outlook, you're likely to get help faster if you ask in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general

Mention which version of Outlook you are using, and that you are using
it under Vista, in case this affects your answer.

If it's Windows Mail, can you give us an example of such a rule? Also
tell us what if any antivirus programs you have, and whether you have
ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that computer,
even one of the free trial versions that often come already installed on
new computers. Some of the more popular antivirus programs tend
to cause assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately.

It's hard for us to tell what is wrong with your message rules without
actually seeing them. One frequently overlooked aspect is that if
you have more than one rule, each rule needs to be terminated
with "Stop processing more rules".
