| | Backing up my cell onto the computer I ahve a Moto Q phone. Calling Motorola, they advised to download Windows Mobile device center. Upon doing that it says that Outlook is not installed. Going further, I find out because I have Vista, and Yahoo, Outlook is no longer used. So I need to work on, I guess Outlooks off-spring, Microsoft Mail.--Who knows, because now, that won't send or receive messages, nor will it verify my user name or password.--Question, Do I delete Microsoft Mail, or the addresses, (and start all over) and How in the world do I back up my phone in the meantime so I can update it because that is a whole other matter? -- Julie |

You can, however, delete the icons on your desktop that make it easy to start. Versions 2003 and more recent of Outlook run well under Vista. Versions 2000 and 2002 will run under Vista, but with problems. Outlook Express is a different program, and won't run under Vista. http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm Some, but not all, versions of Microsoft Office include Outlook: http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/de...&culture=en-US |
