RE: spelling check

This didn't help at all - why can't VISTA make a quick download to correct
the problem since it OBVIOUSLY IS A PROBLEM! As much money as one spends on
a system, things shouldn't be set up so difficult!

What did not help?

go to tools>options>spelling tab>change the spelling language to another
one>apply/ok
Then change it back to English>apply/ok

I received the same error today. All I did was go to
tools/options/spelling and reselected english, then got out. The spellcheck
then worked.

RE: spelling check

Both solutions suggested by mac and Tom S. work.

RE: spelling check

Here's the way I did it, and it worked. In mail go to Tools, Options, and
then Spelling. Change from English to French, then change it back to
English. Hit "apply" and get out of Tools. It should work.

RE: spelling check

It worked well for me too. You have to make certain that you are clicking
the Tool in the base page, inbox not the Tool dropdown in the message you are
creating.
