emails to me end up in junk E-mail folder

for some reason, emails to me from 'certain' lists such as yahoo, end up in
the junk folder.
For example
I write a message to this Yahoo sponsored 'list'.
If some replies to my email address with a answer, it goes to the junk
folder.

I can see nothing in any of the Rules, that would cause this.

I've tried the Not Junk
I've tried making a rule from that message and it still happens.

Could it have anything to do with my NickName of 'FireBrick'????

Allthough I didn't have any problem with OE like this...

Re: emails to me end up in junk E-mail folder

If the replies from the Yahoo list are always sent from the same
email address, you can add that email address to the Safe Senders list.

However, most list emails use the From address of the individual
sender, which makes white-listing impractical. If the Subject always
contains a keyword, such as the list name, you could filter on that.
However, I believe that WM's internal spam rules take precedence
over custom rules, a bad design decision. I don't think OE had a
Junk E-mail (spam) filter, which is why you didn't experience that
problem with OE.

Your only choices are to turn the Junk E-mail filter off, or else
continue adding those senders to the Safe Senders list.

thank you and yes your right OE didn't have a junk feature.
So far WM is blocking most of the spam and crap.
but I guess it's pretty hard to tell the difference perfectly.

I agree the preference decision was poor judgement.
