Customize Toolbar in Windows Mail

I'm trying to customize the toolbar in Windows Mail. I added Undelete from
the Available Toolbars Buttons to the Current Toolbar Buttons in the
Customize Toolbar box. It shows on the toolbar if the Customize Toolbar box
is open, but once I close it, the Undelete icon disappears. How can I get it
to stay once the Customize Toolbar box is closed. Thanks.

Hey there DJM, I really enjoy a NEW query :-)

Never added that button personally, but I see what you mean, It vanishes!!

"When using an IMAP e‑mail account, deleted messages aren't actually removed
from the message list when you click Delete. Instead, they appear with a
strikethrough in the message list to indicate they're marked for deletion.
To permanently remove messages that have been marked for deletion from your
computer, click the Edit menu, and then click Purge Deleted Messages. After
deleted messages have been purged, they can no longer be recovered. To
undelete a message marked for deletion, click the message, click the Edit
menu, and then click Undelete."

So if you are not using an IMAP account, only POP3, then the button is
redundant.

HTH?

Why did you feel the need for that Button, just curious?

Re: Customize Toolbar in Windows Mail

Hi Mac,

Thanks for the response. I had that option when I had Outlook Express and
was just curious as to why it wasn't available in Windows Mail.
