| | Microsoft Outlook 2007 With Business Contact Manager Hi! I installed Microsoft Outlook 2007 With Business Contact Manager (beta). Several warnings during installation said that MS SQL Server 2005 SP2 needed to be installed in order for the program to work properly. (Microsoft Outlook 2007 With Business Contact Manager (beta) apparently installs MS SQL Server 2005, but not SP2.) A search of MS Web sites, including the download site, did not find any reference to MS SQL Server 2005 SP2. How do I obtain a copy?!? Also, on the Startup screen for Microsoft Outlook 2007 With Business Contact Manager (beta) I checked "I want to register without sending contact information." After clicking next, a message box appeared that said "Connecting to registration service please wait". The was followed by an error message saying "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete you last action or actions. Please try again." Of course, trying again produced the same sequence of events. How does one solve this and get registered? Warmest Regards, |

| | RE: Microsoft Outlook 2007 (OL2007) w/ Business Contact Manager (BCM) Running Vista RC1, plenty of RAM (2GB), plenty of drive space (2 drives at 320GB ea). I am having same prob. When I installed RC1, then Office 2007TR and BCM2007TR, everything was working. I then installed MS Office Accouting 2007 (MSOA) (aka Small Business Accounting 2007 beta). Looked like everything was going to go. Then I opted to integrate BCM and MSOA. I liked that in SBA2006. That install seemed to go well. MSOA opens up fine. BUT OL2007 is now dumping. It just starts to try to open, then dumps. Error message says OL2007 has stopped working (duh). Then I send the error report. Then it tries to open again, dumps, error message, error report... over and over until I stop it. Thought it might be the integration of BCM and MSOA. Disabled that, but still dumps now. ![]() From what I read here, seems that SQL Svr 2005 SP1 will not work. ![]() I will work with the OL2007/BCM and MSOA not integrated, if I can get the OL/BCM to stop dumping. Can someone shed some light on this please??? ![]() -- Donald Mills "tyrone" wrote: > Hi! > > I installed Microsoft Outlook 2007 With Business Contact Manager (beta). > Several warnings during installation said that MS SQL Server 2005 SP2 needed > to be installed in order for the program to work properly.
