news:e7rFFa$$IHA.4528@xxxxxxThere is an Outlook-specific newsgroup and one for Office too. You may find

more Outlook-specific expertise there. This is the group for Windows Mail,
a program included with Microsoft Vista. The files you want are in some
place like
C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
The above is the XP location. In principle you can navigate to this
location on your old file system, copy the entire folder, and paste it into
the corresponding location on your new computer. The emails will be in a
file named "Outlook.pst". In Outlook 2003, right click Personal Folders,
select Properties for "Personal Folders" then press the Advanced button.
Filename in that screen will tell you where Outlook stores its data files,
the destination where you are to paste them.
If you install Outlook on the new computer, quit Outlook, and then copy the
Outlook data files from the old system to the new system, you should be able
to start Outlook and see all your emails.
