| Vista Home Premium | Windows Mail can’t be opened. Windows mail was opening every five seconds. I disabled it and now am getting this message. It will open 25 windows in a row. "Windows Mail can’t be opened. A software restriction policy is preventing Windows Mail from opening." I never use Windows mail would like to make it hibernate. |

| | Re: Windows Mail can’t be opened. You must be doing something to cause Windows Mail to run. Make sure your preferred email service has all the email default protocols assigned to it. | Vista Home Premium | Re: Windows Mail can’t be opened. IN a previous forum you directed me to making gmail my default program but that was problematic also. Is it possible to uninstall or delete vista email? I don't/won't use it. |

What problem did you have with making Gmail webmail your default email program?
