signature

I created a signature for my mail program. How come it doesn't show up when
I post to a news group?

Re: signature

Is the 'add signature to all outgoing messages' option ticked? Click
Tools>Options>Signature Look at the top to see if the box next to this
option is ticked. If it isn't, then tick it. See if that solves the problem.

Personally I rarely use this option, I prefer to 'insert' my created
signature manually. That way people who need to know all of my contact
details get one signature and others, such as newsgroups, get a variation.

Re: signature

I can't find the signature button in the customize tool bar page. Also I had
add signature to all outgoing messages checked and it still didn't show up
in message window.

Re: signature

No need to select and insert signatures manually.
You can assign different signatures to different accounts:
Tools, Options, Signatures, select a signature, Advanced...

Re: signature

When you go to Tools, Options, Signatures, select your
"The Surfer" signature, click on Advanced, what do you see?
There should be a checkmark in the box for Microsoft Communities.
Also, on the Signatures settings screen, make sure the first box
is checked, but the second box needs to be unchecked.
