Re: e-mail

The Outlook Express email program in XP was no more
'automatic' than the Windows Mail program in Vista.

Is Insightbb.com your mail provider? How did you access that
email under XP, with a browser or with an email client?
If the latter, try following the email setup instructions provided
by your mail provider:

RE: e-mail

Just saying, Outlook 2007 has a feature that is *supposed* to automatically
configure this stuff for you.

Re: e-mail

The newer Windows Live Mail does this to some extent for the most
popular mail providers. You give it your email address, and you can
elect to have it configure the servers automatically. The problem is that
the server information goes out-of-date. For example, I gave it my
sbcglobal.net address, and it configured some old server settings that
were no longer valid.
