| | 2 User Accounts/Same Email My husband and I share the same computer and the same email, but have separate user accounts in Vista because of iTunes. Does anyone know of a way to have email to show up under both user accounts? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 | Re: 2 User Accounts/Same Email Hey mici, You and hubby have to decide who is going to manage the mail. Once you decide that, the non-manager's settings can be changed to leave a copy of the mail on the server. The manager's setting should either not leave a copy on the server, or should allow for email to be deleted from the server. Either way, the manager might see and delete email before the non-manager does, so there is a bit of trust and cooperation at issue here. You don't say which viewer you use, so I will give an example from Windows Mail. Under the "Tools" menu you will find "Accounts...", click on that, then choose the account in question. Click on "Properties", then on the "Advanced" tab. Here you can click or unclick the box to leave a copy on the server, or delete after a set number of days or as the message is deleted from your "Deleted Items" folder. (See attached screen shot.) Hope this helps |
