Vista - My inbox clears the post suddenly

My inbox clears the mails suddenly. If I look at any folder, mails were
erased when they return to the inbox, and do not appear in any folder. This
is very strange. Thank you for the help!

Open the Inbox folder, then look near the upper right corner.
Does it say "Hide Read Messages" or "Show All Messages"?
You want the latter setting for what is known as the 'Current View'.
Each folder saves its current view setting, so check that setting in
every folder.

This happens to me as well. Only with opened emails. Anything unopened
remains there until you open it and then on exit it disappears and is no
where to be found. I called Bell and of course no one has a clue what to do.
If you immediately move the opened email to a sub folder it will stay there.
It only seems to affect the inbox.
