Hi everyone. I just recently upgraded to vista and noticed about twice a day I get the new email notification and when I click on it or open windows mail there is NOTHING there either in inbox or deleted. Whats up with that? Anyone else please?

Windows Mail, if it is not open already, will NOT notify you of anything.
Did you look in the Junk Mail folder?
Did you check at the website log-in for your mail account, to see if mail
exists there?

Do you have mail accounts elsewhere on the web etc?

This is the only email and I check all the folders and nothing there.

Windows mail is open when I get the notification, its just downsized.

It might be a good idea to set WM leave a copy of messages on the server?

Tools>accounts>select your account>properties>advanced tab, also set it to
delete from server after a sensible number of days.

That way you will see it on the server even after WM downloads, and eats it.
