Windows Mail Not working

My windows mail is driving me nuts. I have changed no settings and yet every
so often, about once a week, it just stops working and gives me the
following message:
Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR popgate argument(s) missing.', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91
Can anyone help me?
