My neighbor called and was really upset that he wasn't able to
send any messages. He was able to receive them.

He called his ISP support tech who ran him around the block
changing several different settings on his account but wasn't
able to correct the problem.

Evidently he was attempting to send a message to several
recipients and the message was rejected. His vision isn't the
greatest and he missed the fact there was an address listed
in the group that wasn't accepted, keeping the message from
being sent. ???

I told him to delete all the messages in his Outbox and it
worked. He is now able to send...



This may be oversimplification to many of those unable to
send their messages using Windows Mail but it would be
worth a try...

That does happen. It took some time to figure it out! We send out a mass
mailing and if one email address has a problem, none of them go - until we
pull that one out and try again!
