Email Shortcut

Does anyone know how to make a shortcut in the bottom taskbar for Windows
Mail? I can't make one on the desktop either. Either one would be great. I
would prefer the one in the bototm taskbar. Thanks in advance.

Re: Email Shortcut

Do you mean to open Windows Mail?
Or do you mean to open a new email?

WINDOWS MAIL
Right click desktop->new->choose shortcut.
Put this line in for location:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINDOWS MAIL\WINMAIL.EXE

If you have quick launch enabled on the taskbar,
just drag it to there.

NEW EMAIL
Put this line in for location:

*mailto:*

Re: Email Shortcut

It is unclear from your last post.
Did you get it running OK?

Re: Email Shortcut

Start, All Programs, right-click on Windows Mail, select, "Add to Quick Launch".

Great idea, of course only applies if you do not use Classic View.
Can go into programs and right click on Windows Mail as well and
choose create shortcut, rename it if necessary, then drag it to
the desktop or quick launch.
