Unable to send e-mail

    Unable to send e-mail

    Subject 'test', Account: 'pop3.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net',
    Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19




    Get this error. Changed port back to original 25 still w/o improvement

    Where did you get that 465 from? Comcast uses port 587 for SMTP.
    Also, make sure you have send authentication enabled:
    Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
    The box for "My server requires authentication must be checked.
