| | reading newsgroup posts offline Hello, I've been using Vista for a while now, but first time today I needed my internet connection for another computer temporarily, and wanted to download all newsgroup posts so I could read them offline in the meantime. This used to be possible in Outlook Express -- one would choose "Synchronize" and could even watch as posts (first all headers, then all bodies) were being downloaded. However, now in Windows Mail it doesn't seem to work. A post gets really downloaded only once I click on it, although I selected "New messages (headers and bodies)" in sync settings for each group I am subscribed to. Could anyone tell whether this is another new "feature" (debilitation) in new version of Windows, or I am doing something wrong? Thanks / Regards Tihomir |
