Default Setting After Email Deleted?

I am helping a friend who is now stuck with Windows Mail in Vista Premium.

Assume you open an email message. Is there any way to set a default setting
that would NOT move to the next message after selecting the delete button?
That is, simply delete/close the open email message and show the inbox.
Right now, Windows mail automatically opens the next message in the inbox.

I know this feature is available in Outlook, but I have been unable to find
it in Windows Mail or in any of the discusson forums.

Thanks for any help!!

Re: Default Setting After Email Deleted?

It works just like Outlook Express did in XP.
There is no setting that I am aware of, maybe
someone knows of a registry edit?

Re: Default Setting After Email Deleted?

In Outlook, this setting is under a "mail handling" feature (get to select
whether to go to next message, previous message, or inbox). I could not find
anything like this choice in Windows Mail or in the discussion groups.

Thanks!
