Vista - Embedding Music

Can anyone tell me how to embed music in Windows mail ( Vista )?
I use to be able to do this in Windows XP ( Outlook Express ) by going to
Format/background/sound then browse to find what I wanted to embed...by embed
I mean that when the person opens my email they will hear the music playing
already without having to click on anything.

Windows mail works basically the same as Outlook Express.

What problem are you having? If you are getting an error
message, post it here.

However, you will have very few people that can open the
email and hear the music play. Far as I know, webmail won't
work that way, the music will have to be downloaded to the
persons computer. People that email in text mode won't be
able to hear it when opened, it will arrive as an attachment,
assuming it goes through their security settings.

I was always able to embed a song in my emails using Outlook Express.
I had no problem with it at all...
I would click on Format/background/sound then browse to find the song.
Now ...I cannot do that. I am using Vista and Windows mail.
It attached the song as an attachment instead of embedding it.
No...I do not get an error message when I do this. It just simply will
not do it.
I guess this means That I cannot do this anymore using Windows mail
then...right? I wish I had Windows XP and Outlook Express back on my
computer.

Yes, it is still done the same way. Format->Background->Sound.

I was trying to understand just what happens when you do that
in *Windows Mail*. I understood that worked for you in XP.
Are you set up in HTML format? If you are in text format, you
can only attach.

Windows Mail->Tools->Options->Send Tab->Mail Sending Format.
Click HTML.
Then in the HTML settings button be sure it says quoted printable.
And be sure a check mark is next to *Send Pictures With Messages*.

If that doesn't solve it, please try to explain what does happen
when you click format, etc;

I'm having the same problem embedding. I did the html thing, and it still doesn't work?
