Vista - Windos Mail - search cannot find messages

Dear Colleagues,

I have an intermittent problem with the search when looking for a "from" message in Windows Mail.

The problem was emphasised this morning, for example, when I searched for a colleague's messages - they were found immediately. However when I had to search again for the same messages from the same colleague a few moments later, no messages were found.

I have this problem since the beginning (three months ago with a new Vista laptop) but have not been able to pin it down well enough to describe it.

Can you offer any advice, please.

I have just spent several hours looking for the same answer to no avail.

singletsigma, have you (or anyone else) found a problem to this issue yet?

I have found several posts with the same exact problem and yet not one
single answer.

Dear Anxo,

yes - use the vista "search" command rather than the mail "find". You will see why if you look at the other replies and responses to my query.
