Windows Mail contacts folder

I may have done something wrong, but in my contacts folder, after I open
Windows Mail, I can not get the options in the tools menu to Add a new group,
or to add a new contact.
How do I create a new contacts folder that will have all those options?
I'm sure that the folder I am using is the wrong type even though it's named
Contacts.
Any help and/or suggestions would be very helpful.
Thanks
Don

Re: Windows Mail contacts folder

I seem to have the same problem. When I hit the Contacts button, a page comes up that has drop-down menus "Organize, Views, Burn" but nothing about "Add Contact, Add Group, etc." Does this sound the same as your problem?

Watch these posts starting with Re: Look at the properties. The post you answered to above from Yifinguy is a leach from another server. The OP will not see your answer. This has been happening quite often lately
