Windows mail doesn't download emails.

I keep getting this message:

Account: 'jdenx409', Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Protocol: POP3, Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC19

WHY and what should I do to rectify the problem ?

RE: Windows mail doesn't download emails.

Go to account properties, advanced tab. Under the incoming mail port line
there is a box "This server requires a secure connection." Check the box.
If it's already checked try unchecking it.

If that doesn't help, delete the account, and start over. Go to your
providers help page and follow the steps there.
