Vista - SOS!!!!

I receive a "ding", my bottom tool bar says 1 message received, however, it
doesn't show up in my in box, my spam box, my junk mail or any other
place....... HOW do I retrieve these emails. I'm using Windows Vista Mail.
I have Panda 2009 Anti Virus on my system with all firewalls disabled as I
thought that was my issue. However, that doesn't appear to be the case any
longer.

Uninstall Panda's email scanning features, if you have them installed and
see if the problem persists.
