windows mail, unable to send but can receive

I am setting up a new account and can now receive but cannot post. Anyone
have a suggestion? Here is the error message I get:
-- Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server:
'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port:
25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

That server does not use port 25. Please follow your provider's published
email setup directions:
