| Home Premium 32bit | Conserve Email Date when Exporting? We need to be able to export emails to individual Windows folders outside of the mail program. We need to conserve the email dates for reference. Upon exporting the emails get tagged with the date of export. This will not work for us. If anyone can tell me how to conserve the original dates or if there is a software program that makes this possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Scott |

| | Re: Conserve Email Date when Exporting? My OEX program (www.oehelp.com/OEX/) will export the messages from OE or WinMail and one can prepend or append a datestamp to the subject. However, regardless of how you export the messages, if they are intact, then when you open them, they will have their original dates. In addition, if you view the directory in Windows Explorer, then you can customize the columns to show the message date as a sortable field, as opposed to the file date. steve "Scottjk" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message news:787272226e069be6578d8bcb16f730eb@xxxxxx-gateway.com... | | Re: Conserve Email Date when Exporting? Highlight the email you wish to save in a different folder. Then just drag it to the folder you want to save it in. To establish 2 windows side-by-side, right click taskbar. Once saved, you can delete the one in Windows Mail.
