Vista Tutorial - sending link to mail

sending link to mail

when I try to send a link, windows mails opens and justs checks my incoming mail, but doen not prepare to send the link forward. Any help would be appreciated

Windows Mail may not have been assigned all of its defaults.
The following procedure will rewrite the default protocol
assignments in the registry:
Open the Default Programs applet, then click on "Set program
access and computer defaults." Expand the Custom selection, and
select "Windows Mail". Click OK. Restart Windows Mail, then try
sending a link from IE.

Assuming that the Default Programs procedure did not work for you,
the only other suggestion I have is to try upgrading to Windows Live Mail:
