A place to tell Microsoft your opinions on which antivirus program to use with Vista

A place to see which antivirus programs Microsoft recommends
for use with Vista, and then tell Microsoft your opinion on which
antivirus program to use with Vista:

http://www.microsoft.com/protect/viruses/vista/av.mspx

Re: A place to tell Microsoft your opinions on which antivirus program to use with Vista

Several of those have been shown in this newsgroup and elsewhere NOT to be
compatible with Vista. Many of those, when installed, result in non- or
dys- functionality of Windows Mail.

I don't see AVAST on there either, which is one of the more compatible
products.

I wonder how much the companies paid Microsoft to get listed on that page.
And I wonder how many of those products Microsoft actually tested to see if
they were in fact compatible.

Symantec and MacAfee aren't compatible with anything, let alone Vista.

I wouldn't even use Symantec or McAfee anti virus. They are only added to
new PCs because the PC Manufacturer gets a commission when you renew your
subscription with Symantec (Norton) and/or McAfee.

I rated the page poor and posted this comment:
