Bad keyboard characters

In Vista Mail, all my special characters map to the wrong character set.
This happens only in Mail, so I think my keyboard is OK.

This is a some special characters I do not want:

É é

Question mark is in the wrong place.

How do I fix this.

Cheers

Re: Bad keyboard characters

I have reset the keyboard language, done everything- and still the E replaces
the ? sometimes. The CURE: exit Windows Mail, and re-open it. The problem
goes away until the next time. It happened again today- close the program,
reopen it- and the ?????? are back!

Re: Bad keyboard characters

I've had the same problem. I found a replacement for the ?? under shift 6 but
I lost completely the @ symbol so started to worry. Keyboard language didn't
help. Hopefully problem continues going away after re-boot.

Re: Bad keyboard characters

I am experience this as well, randomly, and only in Windows Mail. The

Any fix yet?

Fred

Re: Bad keyboard characters

Check the keyboard layout under Control Panel | Regional and Language
settings | Keyboards just to make sure its the right one.
