    I've lost my sound. I used to have it, now it's gone. I think it might
    have something to do with Vista. I've changed drivers, deleted stuff as per
    directions from a nice girl in India, I guess. Still have the problem.
    Please tell me it's something simple that I can just "click".

    Check your volume settings under Control Panel | Sounds and check your
    cables to your speakers.
