| | account configuration i am trying to send email from my hotmail account to be advised that window live does not support HTTP email and i need to check my account configuration. I have never had problems like this before i decidedd to use windows live mail. Can someone help me "configure" for hotamil account? -- thank you for your help |

Windows Live Mail (microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop) can access Hotmail/Live email accounts. There is no need to configure a Hotmail account. Just enter your email address into the setup, it will do the rest. | | Re: account configuration Free Hotmail and Live accounts have webmail access only, no POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail. The newer Windows Live Mail program does accommodate Hotmail and Live.com accounts.
