| | Cannot send mail via IMAP This is the error message I receive....I've contacted my web mail provider and they have tried everything to help me...I think the problem is on my end?? Can someone help me? The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider. The rejected e-mail address was 'mrs_fuzz@xxxxxx'. | | Re: Cannot send mail via IMAP That error message means that the SMTP server you were trying to use is not on the same network as your connection provider. As a general rule, the owner of the SMTP server must be the same as the one providing your Internet connection at that moment. The workaround is to change that outgoing server to the one supplied by your ISP. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "MrsFuzz" <MrsFuzz@xxxxxx> wrote in message news 1F5787E-822B-4643-8FA5-B447C11CABB1@xxxxxxQuote: > This is the error message I receive....I've contacted my web mail provider > and they have tried everything to help me...I think the problem is on my > end??
