| | Re: Deleted Emails The file space used by those messages is marked 'unused', which means the OS can use that space for storing something else. Are you trying to recover a deleted message? Try the free Recuva undelete program: http://www.recuva.com/ -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Avril" <avril@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6070BB53-95E5-4317-9378-487857C8CBA8@xxxxxx Quote: >I am using Vista Windows Mail. | | Re: Deleted Emails Hi Gary. I wasn't trying to recover a deleted message. I've never seen 'deleted' emails in the Recycle Bin. I was trying to find out if emails erased from the 'Deleted Items' are really deleted, freeing up space. As you say that the OS can reuse this space, I believe you have answered my question. Thanks. -- Avril "Gary VanderMolen" wrote: Quote: > The file space used by those messages is marked 'unused', which means > the OS can use that space for storing something else. > > Are you trying to recover a deleted message?
