is there a 'mail returned' spam/phising scam running?

    Vista Windows-mail, Vista Premium

Lately I'm getting a few 'returned-undisclosed recipients type emails.

As I didn't send any, I'm suspicious that these are virus or phishing
    emails.
I've been deleting them without opening.

    Anybody else getting these lately?

    please and thank you

What has probably happened is that someone has harvested your email address
from some source and is sending SPAM in your name to all the addresses they
have in their address list. Some of those email addresses would be
incorrect since people drop email accounts all the time. Since your email
address is used as the sending address, you get the failure to send message.
