| | Re: WINDOWS MAIL YAHOO POP ERROR, CANT SEND OR RECEIVE Did it ever work? I take it you pay for Yahoo's premium 'Mail Plus' service? If so, the special settings for that server require the SSL option to be enabled (yours is not enabled). The complete settings are given here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mai...op/pop-14.html -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "DOUGYFRESH" <widgeonpintail@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:AAD3D353-9B84-4BFC-AD1B-CA2F00903A1C@xxxxxx Quote: > ANY IDEAS? | | Re: WINDOWS MAIL YAHOO POP ERROR, CANT SEND OR RECEIVE Hello, I have the same problem since a month ago or so. I was always able to use Windows Mail with my Yahoo Premium account, but I don´t know what condition changed in my Vista ultimate box to make WM stop working with Yahoo. I think there is some issue with the SSL certificate involved because Windows is sometimes asking me for permission to use the certificate when I launch windows Mail. I tired Mozilla thunderbird with excelent results, but I want my Windows Mail back. Help me please. Thank you very much in advance. | | Re: WINDOWS MAIL YAHOO POP ERROR, CANT SEND OR RECEIVE Make sure your settings agree with: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mai...op/pop-14.html Are both sending and receiving failing? Which antivirus do you use? If you get an error message, right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here. We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Arturo Canler" <disp2k4-sat@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:%23GlOHeUOJHA.240@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello, > I have the same problem since a month ago or so. | | Re: WINDOWS MAIL YAHOO POP ERROR, CANT SEND OR RECEIVE Do you pay Yahoo for the premium Mail Plus service? If so, the server you are using is not the correct one according to the Yahoo link quoted below. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Ken Paar" <KenPaar@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BDA398E6-8A57-4AFC-9D49-582C157EDFAB@xxxxxx Quote: > Gary, > > This is the error message that I receive everytime for 4 days now when I try > to use Send/Receive button to receive my Yahoo message traffic.
