| | Reporting Junk Mail ? How do I report junk mail to Microsoft instead of just deleting it? I gave my private e-mail to apple.com since I'm having problems with my iPhone & now I just received a lottery notification of 1.7 million dollars from Nigeria which I know is BS. This is why I usually don't give that e-mail address out. Any help would be greatly appreciated :-) |

| | Re: Reporting Junk Mail ? You can only report junk mail to Microsoft if you have a Hotmail or Live.com account, and then only when using the newer Windows Live Mail. It has a setting for reporting junk mail to Microsoft. Those reports are used by Microsoft to improve their spam filter. Junk mail downloaded through non-Microsoft accounts can be reported to SpamCop: http://spamcop.net .
