| | Recovered Messsages folder keeps appearing ... I've recently had to rebuild my message store by deleting the WindowsMail.MSMessageStore files etc. This worked OK but, everytime I now start Mail, a Recovered Messsages folder is created. This has various sub-folders, all of which are empty. I can delete the folders, but how can I stop them being created? Any suggestions gratefully received! |

| | Re: Recovered Messsages folder keeps appearing ... That method, deleting WindowsMail.MSMessageStore files is not recommended, precisely because of what happened to you. Your message store is now corrupted. The best solution at this point is to upgrade to the newer Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Jill & Ellis" <jillandellis@xxxxxx-online.de> wrote in message news:%236pSvjNPJHA.3936@xxxxxx Quote: > I've recently had to rebuild my message store by deleting the WindowsMail.MSMessageStore files etc. This worked OK but, > everytime I now start Mail, a Recovered Messsages folder is created.
