| | Windows Mail crashes. Message "...has stopped working" After opening and reading an attachment from one e-mail, the app crashes when I try to open a second attachment in the same e-mail, or if I try to open an attachment in another message. After the crash, I can reopen the app and I get identical performance. Is something still running? Task manager does not seem to indicate so. |

| | Re: Windows Mail crashes. Message "...has stopped working" Let me guess, you are running Norton antivirus. That is a known issue caused by a recent update to Norton antivirus. There may be a newer update that corrects the problem, so first try updating Norton. If no joy, uninstall and follow up with their debris removal tool: http://service1.symantec.com/Support...05033108162039 If you like, we can recommend a more compatible free antivirus. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Tanker" <Tanker@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:EBFAA7C7-AA9F-4E2E-8A3C-C99F2E200325@xxxxxx Quote: > After opening and reading an attachment from one e-mail, the app crashes when > I try to open a second attachment in the same e-mail, or if I try to open an > attachment in another message.
