Receiving emal with photos attached - strange happenings - please

Hi all, at friends yesterday and they showed me an email (Windows mail via
VISTA) that had two photos attached. Open up the first one & all OK, then
clicked on "next" button and viewed second photo OK. Hit "next" again & some
weird and wonderful photos appeared - heaps of them - some we recoggnised
some we didnt.
It looks like computer has saved every image that has ever been received -
even though we didnt save them.

Also, their ISP iprimus keep sending emails to say their emails are full -
even though they only have 1 or 2 saved. We have searched this site & found
instructions to fix but still happens. Could it be the photos above that we
think have been saved somewhere that are taking up all the room???

Appreciate any help as to how to resolve both issues - thanks!!

If you are using Verizon go to Verizon Central & you will probably find a lot
of e-mail there.

Chances are, all those photos are saved on that computer's hard drive.
Whether the photos also exist on the mail server can only be
ascertained by connecting to the server via the provider's webmail.
