| | Re: spelling check windows mail I am NOT an American Actually, you speak Australianisch, żnicht wahr? Office defines eighteen varieties of English including yours, with spelling and proofing tools for each one. You might try using Outlook 2007 instead. There doesn't appear to be any way to add dictionaries to Windows Mail, but you might check the aftermarket for products that do this. Windows Live Mail (http://get.live.com) is a Microsoft product that can be used for australianische spell checking, although some tweaking is required. See the Windows Live Mail discussion group if you are interested in this route. Outlook does it "right out of the box" though. Please, "Amerikanisch". -- Earle Horton -- earleh@xxxxxx "Tomhad" <Tomhad@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:CB2473F4-DC5D-48D7-B758-670E48DC0EF1@xxxxxx Quote: >I keep getting Windows Mail spell check correcting me as if I am an >American. > The rest of the world including Australia where I live SPEAK ENGLISH not > AMERICISH. how do I change the dictionary in Windows Mail, any one know ? |

| | Re: spelling check windows mail I am NOT an American No, there is no non-American English dictionary for Windows Mail, and there probably never will be. There is a workaround to get British/Aussie dictionaries in the newer Windows Live Mail. http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/...-dictiona.aspx -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview http://download.live.com/wlmail "Tomhad" <Tomhad@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:CB2473F4-DC5D-48D7-B758-670E48DC0EF1@xxxxxx Quote: > I keep getting Windows Mail spell check correcting me as if I am an > American. > The rest of the world including Australia where I live SPEAK ENGLISH not > AMERICISH. how do I change the dictionary in Windows Mail, any one know ? |
