| | Re: Double-click to open attachment doesn't work Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons explained here: http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tuto...ning/index.htm If turning off the email scanning function does not resolve your problem, do a trial uninstall of your antivirus. If no improvement, you can always reinstall it. Re-installing Bullguard isn't an option (pre-installed); besides, I'm convinced that originally double-clicking on attachments worked before. Maybe some change or installation has introduced the problem. I have been looking in the registry to find some keys related to Mail and attachments but didn't find anything appropriate. | | Re: Double-click to open attachment doesn't work Some cause of the problem found. Some background: I use a laptop and an external screen and the desktop is spread over both screens. When I move a message to the external screen I cannot open the attachments by double-clicking. When the message is on the laptop-screen there is no problem opening an attachment by double-clicking. Why it doesn't work from the external screen remains a mystery.
